Frio Hat - Brown Melange
Inspired by the structure of a traditional Peruvian alpaca fur hat and the ease of a classic beanie, the FRIO hat is a leveled-up staple for those looking for a casual yet exciting alternative to the beanie.
Made in Peru in collaboration with Boutique Knitwear Factory, Revolution Knits. This garment is made by intentionally combining various leftover to create a new one. No new yarns were used in the making of these gorritos (little hats).
The entire body features ribbed knitting, while the top is crafted separately in a star-like structure, creating a look that’s full on the sides and flat on top. This shape is what sets this piece apart.
Fit: One Size Fits All
Material: 62% Alpaca, 31% Cotton, 7% Nylon. All yarns are leftovers from deadstock (in Spanish it is called MERMA).
Care: Spot clean (ex. tide pen, warm wash cloth) for small spills. Use a lint roller for removing dust, dirt or other small particles. Dry clean or hand wash cold with mild soap; lay flat to dry.
Also Available in: Carbón (Grey, Charcoal & Black mix)
